👷 Short-term volunteers are welcome to support the education team, while we are also looking for committed long-term volunteers to help lead and further develop the work.
Eurorelief exists to show compassion to those who are suffering in Greece and surrounding regions. We are a Greek nonprofit, non-governmental organisation serving in refugee camps. Our work includes providing for the physical and social needs of refugees arriving on Greece’s shores. We aim to demonstrate God’s love to the residents in the camps through practical care and support.
About Education
Eurorelief is looking for experienced and passionate teachers to support our teams on Lesvos and Chios.
Our teachers play an important role in creating a safe and structured learning environment for children and adults. Through education, play and regular activities, teachers support learning, routine and development within the camps.
What you’ll be involved in
Supporting adult and/or children’s classes
Helping with programmes such as special visits, social outreach activities and mother‑and‑toddler programmes
Supporting activities in the library
Note: Education activities and programs may change depending on needs and context.
Who we’re looking for
Volunteers with experience in teaching, education or working with children (formal or informal)
People who are creative, patient and adaptable in the ever‑changing environment of humanitarian work
Team players who are flexible and willing to support where needed
