The projects of Eurorelief are primarily led and operated by volunteers. International volunteers come from around the world to volunteer with Eurorelief, bringing hands-on hope to people in difficult circumstances. 

As a Member Care Team Member, you’ll support our volunteers by being there for them during their time on the island. Your role is to help create a supportive environment where volunteers feel cared for, can reflect on their experiences, and grow both personally and in their faith.

Responsibilities

  • Pick up volunteers from the port or airport and provide trainings and briefings

  • Support spiritual and personal growth through regular check-ins and prayer

  • Lead team nights and plan community activities for volunteers

  • Debrief volunteers at the end of their term

  • Be a consistent and caring presence throughout their time of service

Requirements

  • Availability at least one year

  • Spiritually and emotionally mature, stable and flexible 

  • Strong relationship and communication skills

  • Willingness to be available odd hours to accommodate and support volunteers outside of camp

  • Leadership skills and experience

  • Identification with the Christian values of Eurorelief (bonus if you have pastoral experience)

  • Helpful if you can drive manual

As with all Eurorelief roles, this is a volunteer position: applicants must be self-funded and should have a network of friends and supporters at their "home-base." The first 3 months serve as a probationary period.
